Our Sky
I directed, choreographed and danced in this short dance film for my CCA - D3 Contemporary Dance's internal dance competition, R3solute.sg.
Exploring on the theme 'Singapore', my team and I took inspiration from World War 2 (WW2) heroes such as Elizabeth Choy and Lim Bo Seng, as well as their lives during the war. Through this experience, I managed to deepen my insights to videography and learnt the best angles that would showcase the choreography ideally.
My team and I are honoured to be crowned the champion with this item.

DANCE
Since young, I have been fascinated by how the human body is capable of portraying the strongest message and the most genuine emotions. As a dancer, I constantly seek opportunities to express my emotions and creativity by taking part the artistic direction of dance items.
Although I have been dancing for the past decade, I never stop trying to incorporate different elements into my work, bringing something refreshing to the audiences.
WHO AM I?
For the solo internal dance competition organised by D3 Contemporary Dance Club, I personally directed, choreographed and edited this short film based on the theme of 'Reconnect', whereby I try to find my true identity in the video.
I also explored the use of props and environment exclusively while choreographing this item.
I am honoured to be awarded the Second Runner Up award for this item.

Performances & Competitions
I have also participated in many performances and competitions of a diverse range of styles, such as the Super 24 Dance Competition and Singapore Youth Festival over the past ten years of my dance journey. My rich experience in performing has helped me to refine my technical skills and become a better performer over the years.
